Learn to Read at Starfall: Our reading lab teacher told me about this site. A great place forpreschool, kinder, and primary students to work on letter and sound association and beginning reading skills. Need help with the story? The website can read the word to you. There are even comics to read!
The Moonlit Road: Want to explore ghost stories? This site has folklore and stories from the American South. Every month different stories are featured as read-alouds. Remember, these stories can be scary!

Asian American Booklist This has some excellent titles for a variety of ages! Note, this is a Word doucument file.
ALA Notable Books for 2010 Prepared by the American Library Association, this is one of my favorite lists.
CA Dept. of Education Literature List Search for age-appropriate titles. This site also includes links to lists such as the Caldecott, Newbery, and Coretta Scott King Winners. A super resource sponsored by the California Department of Education.
California Reading List This list is designed to match students with books at an appropriate reading level based on their Stanford 9 scores.
California Young Reader Medal books This page explains the CYRM program, administered by the California Reading Association, California Teachers of English, California Library Association, and the California School Library Association. Lists the current nominees as well as past nominees and winners.
